Before this goes live: these are reasonable, plainly-written starting drafts, not lawyer-reviewed final terms. A EULA and website terms carry real legal weight — licensing rights, liability limits, IP terms — so treat this page as a placeholder to have properly reviewed before launch, more so even than the privacy page.

1. Website terms of use

This website (theflickseries.com) is operated by 3D-Prototype Ltd, trading as 3iapps, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 08788558), registered office at Lytchett House, 13 Freeland Park, Wareham Road, Poole, Dorset, BH16 6FA.

By using this site, you agree to use it lawfully and not to attempt to disrupt it, scrape it at abusive volume, or misrepresent its content as your own. Everything on this site — art, screenshots, video, writing, the FLICK name and characters — is owned by 3D-Prototype Ltd unless stated otherwise, and is made available for personal viewing and for press coverage of the game, not for resale or reuse in other products.

The site, including any early-build footage shown on it, is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. Development builds are unfinished by definition — features, art, and performance shown may change before release.

2. End user licence agreement (the game)

This section will govern use of the FLICK: The Tangle software once it's released, and is drafted now so the framework exists ahead of launch. Because the game is marketed to players aged 9 and up, the party actually entering into this agreement is assumed to be the purchasing adult — a parent or guardian — on behalf of the child playing.

3. Apple-specific terms

If you obtained the game via the Apple App Store, the following apply in addition to the above, as required by Apple: this licence is between you and 3D-Prototype Ltd, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the game. 3D-Prototype Ltd, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the game or your possession of it, including product liability claims, legal compliance claims, and claims under consumer protection law. 3D-Prototype Ltd, not Apple, is responsible for any third-party claim that the game infringes intellectual property rights. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a US government embargo and are not on any US government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement and may enforce it against you.

4. Accessibility commitment

FLICK: The Tangle is designed colourblind-first: every mechanic that depends on colour is also signalled by shape and symbol, using the Okabe–Ito colour-safe palette. This is a design constraint we build to, not a checkbox — if you ever find a moment in the game that relies on colour alone, we consider that a defect worth fixing, and want to hear about it.

5. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, without removing any protection you're entitled to under the law of the country you live in. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. This section, like the rest of this page, is a plain-language starting point pending proper legal review.
