The game collects nothing. Here's exactly what that means.

The short version

• FLICK: The Tangle collects no personal data and no usage data, from anyone, of any age.
• It never connects to the internet. It works fully offline.
• It shows no ads and contains no advertising or analytics code.
• There are no accounts, no sign-in and no purchases inside the game.

The game

The game saves your progress and settings (levels finished, certificates, gallery, options) on your own device only. That file never leaves your device and we can't see it. Deleting the game deletes it.

The game does not use the camera, microphone, location, contacts or photos. On Android it may use vibration for optional haptics; that sends nothing anywhere.

There is no crash reporting, no tracking, no advertising identifier and no third-party code that collects data.

Buying the game

The game is bought through Steam, Google Play or the App Store. That purchase is handled entirely by the store, under the store's own privacy policy. We never see your payment details.

Children

The game is made for players aged 9 and up. Because it collects nothing from anyone, the answer is the same whether the player is 9 or 90: nothing about them is collected, stored or shared.

This website

This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no advertising trackers. Its fonts, images and videos are served from this site, not from third parties. Our web host keeps standard server logs (such as IP addresses) for security; we use them only to keep the site running.

Launch-update emails (optional, for grown-ups)

If you choose to sign up for launch updates on this website, we store your email address with our email provider, MailerLite, and use it only to tell you about FLICK. We never sell or share it. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link, or you can ask us to delete your address at any time. The sign-up is on the website only — there is nothing like it in the game.
