We don't collect anything. Here's exactly what that means.

The game itself

FLICK: The Tangle collects no personal data, from anyone, of any age. There's no account to create, no analytics SDK, no crash reporter phoning home, no advertising ID, and nothing sold or shared with anyone. This was a design constraint from the start, not a policy bolted on afterward.

This website

The site itself doesn't run analytics or advertising trackers. Like effectively any website, the hosting infrastructure that serves these pages may keep basic technical logs (for example, IP addresses, for security and abuse prevention) — that's a function of how the internet works, not something we add on top of it, and we don't access or use those logs for anything beyond keeping the site running.

If you sign up for launch updates

The only information we ever ask for, anywhere in this project, is an email address — and only if you volunteer it to hear about the launch. That email is used for nothing except sending you updates about FLICK, is not sold or shared with third parties for their own use, and can be removed at any time by unsubscribing.

Children's privacy

FLICK: The Tangle is rated for ages 9 and up. Because we don't collect data from anyone regardless of age, there's no separate children's data-handling process to describe — the same "we don't collect it" answer applies whether the player is 9 or 90. This page is written in plain language deliberately, so it's genuinely readable by our actual audience, not just by adults.

Purchases

If you buy the game, that purchase is handled entirely by Apple, Google, or Steam's own payment systems — we never see or handle your card details. Their own privacy policies cover that transaction, not this one.

Who's responsible for this, and how to complain

3D-Prototype Ltd is a UK company, and this project follows UK GDPR principles as a baseline regardless of where a player is located. We're small enough that a formal Data Protection Officer isn't legally required — but any question about this page or how we handle data can go to the contact below, and we'll acknowledge it within 30 days.

You also always have the right to complain directly to the UK's data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office: ico.org.uk, or by phone on 0303 123 1113.

Your rights

Since we hold no personal data on players beyond a voluntary launch-update email, there's little to request, correct, or delete beyond that — but if you'd like your email removed, or have any question about this page, contact us below.
